Laura Smith
Laura Smith set up The Pensions Lawyer Limited following her previous position as Partner at Ramsdens Solicitors where she was Head of Pensions. Her roll enabled her to gain a wealth of experience working with national SIPP and SSAS pensions providers and scheme administrators. Laura specialised in Commercial Property law on qualification at Manchester based firm Slater Heelis after training in a niche London commercial firm.
Laura has a passion for providing excellent customer service and high quality work. She believes that Pensions Law requires a dedication and commitment to work closely with clients, their financial planners and advisers, to put into practice the schemes requirement with expertise and efficiency.
Laura also holds her own trustee position for a local charity and enjoys spending time looking after her young family and running marathons!

Rhea Blair
Rhea previously worked in-house at a financial institution, advising on secured freehold and leasehold commercial property lending. In this role, she gained extensive experience in advising on, and drafting a range of documentation, including loan agreements and security.
Prior to this, Rhea trained and worked at the London office of regional commercial law firm TLT LLP in the Banking and Asset Finance team where she advised on various aspects of secured lending with a particular focus on real estate finance.
Outside of work, when raising her young family allows, Rhea enjoys reading, playing tennis and writing fiction.
